Photo Shop In Monrovia Brings Old Memories To Life

Behind the colorfully decorated windows of the small photo shop in Monrovia, memories can be made and saved.

As we walked around the quaint photo shop in Monrovia, there was little doubt of the owner’s passion for photography. From the quirkily decorated front door to the huge saturated portraits hanging on the front windows, Photoworks in Monrovia captures the photographic spirit.

There’s a small town feel when you enter the unique photo studio which is complimented by its personable owner, Rick Keshishi. An Armenian from Iran, Rick is a unique blend of technician and creative tinkerer. His passion for photography inspired him to open his own photo studio back in 1998 leaving a promising career with Kodak.

He’s been creating and saving people’s precious memories ever since. See how Rick brings old photos and films into the digital age and meet the man behind the photographic lens.
